This color was perfect for making Clothespin Doctor Seuss The grinch. I could not believe how it spread so easily and the color was perfect I made over a 100 and still had 3/4 of a bottle left over thank you Walmart for selling apple Barrel paint. This brand is a good craft paint. It applies smooth and evenly to paper, wood, plastic, and even Styrofoam, and it dries fast. If you want it to last, use Mod Podge to seal it in, and that will keep it from peeling and/or wearing away. The colors are nice and rich, but you have to buy them ‘separately’ because the paints sold in sets are not as good in quality.

As a crafter, you can’t get any better paint than Apple barrel. It comes in so many colors and is inexpensive dries quickly and true to the color that it shows even when it’s dry I’ve used Apple barrel paint for many years and have never been disappointed I highly recommend this product.

I painted an outside statue with Apple Barrel paints EXCEPT on one part I used a Dollar store acrylic. I set it outside and sprayed one coat of polyurethane. It rained briefly on the statue and the Dollar store pain chipped and flaked off. The Apple Barrel held up with no issues at all!! As has a previous outdoor statue I painted 3 years ago without polyurethane. Great product! I won’t use anything else again. Ever!
