I always carry a pair of blunt tip scissors in my checked luggage. Convenient for removing the price tags on the cute souvenir t-shirt, cutting off loose threads on any number of garments, clipping a restaurant coupon and lots of other uses. These are small enough to stash in my suitcase, sharp enough to cut most anything that needs trimming (well, maybe not a tree that’s blocking your view. 😉 )
